“We have used trip insurance a number of times. They were especially helpful twice. We had to cancel a trip at the last minute due to illness of one of the travelers and there was no problem in getting reimbursment.
We also cancelled a trip due to COVID, but inadvertently failed to notify Tripinsurance.com. When we tried to use the policy for a later trip, they accepted our use of the full price for the canceled trip as a credit for the new trip as evidence of the trip cancellation and extended the original policy to the new trip.
We frequently use Tripinsurance.com when our travel event consists of multiple different tours organized by companies which offer their own insurance. We prefer to have a single package for the entire trip.”
